A Letter from Our Founder
I'm going to be direct with you because I think you deserve it.
The physician job market is broken. You know it. I know it. Every doctor who's ever tried to find a job knows it.
You post your CV somewhere and suddenly you're drowning in calls from recruiters you've never heard of, pushing jobs you never asked about, in cities you'd never live in. They don't read your preferences. They don't care about your career goals. They care about their placement fee.
Or you go to the "big" job boards and wade through thousands of listings that are months old, duplicated across seventeen different recruiting firms, with salary listed as "competitive" (translation: we're not going to tell you).
We built Doctor CareerHub because we were tired of all that.
Here's what we believe:
- →Salary transparency is non-negotiable. If an employer won't tell you what they pay, that tells you something. We require salary ranges on every listing.
- →Your inbox is sacred. We will never sell your information. We will never let recruiters blast you with messages. You control who contacts you.
- →Quality over quantity. We'd rather have 500 real jobs than 50,000 recycled listings. Every job on Doctor CareerHub is verified and current.
- →No games. No "apply now to see salary." No hidden fees. No bait and switch. What you see is what you get.
I spent twelve years in medicine before starting Doctor CareerHub. I did the residency grind. I did the job search. I sat through the interviews where the salary discussion felt like pulling teeth. I signed a contract with terms I didn't fully understand because I was exhausted and just wanted it to be over.
That's why we also publish resources on contract negotiation, compensation benchmarks, and what to look for (and avoid) in employment agreements. Because finding the job is only half the battle.
We're not trying to be the biggest job board. We're trying to be the best one. The one that actually respects your time and treats you like the professional you are.
If that resonates with you, welcome.
If it doesn't, that's fine too. There are plenty of other places that will happily sell your contact info to the highest bidder.
