This position is for an outpatient-only Geriatric Medicine Physician for a managed care company. You will be working within a value-based care model, focusing on Medicare and Medicaid Advantage patients who are all 65 years and older.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a shared phone call among all providers, resulting in minimal phone call responsibilities, approximately once every few months. You can expect to see 12-15 patients per day, supported by a full staff including Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and Registered Nurses, along with on-site labs and radiology.
Compensation for this role is competitive, with total earnings starting at $300,000 in the first year, along with an attainable 20% salary bonus plan. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, a matching 401k retirement plan, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, along with PTO.
