POSITION SUMMARY: As a Medical and Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Technician, you will be trained to perform processing of blood and other body fluids, ensuring that samples are collected and labeled correctly. Your role will include obtaining blood samples, registering patients, and verifying medical necessity for Medicare patients. You will work in a well-ventilated area, handling potentially infectious materials and operating laboratory equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The position may require standing, sitting, and lifting patients with assistance. You will need good color vision, hearing, and the ability to work under time pressure.
