This is a board-eligible or board-certified Med-Peds or Internal Medicine nocturnist position at a community hospital in eastern North Carolina. You will be joining an established, high-quality hospitalist program employed by a large regional physician group.
The hospitalist team includes 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider, with options for scheduling three 14-hour shifts per week or six 14-hour shifts every other week. You will be responsible for an average of 6 nightly admissions, caring for patients in a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support. ICU responsibilities include ventilator management, lumbar puncture, and central line placement.
