About This Position

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, providing support for other imaging technologists as needed to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The technologist must demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as required. Responsibilities include maintaining imaging competencies, adhering to organizational values, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues and participating in ongoing education and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
Handle the movement, set-up, and operation of medical ultrasound equipment.
Adapt patient assessment and treatment methods to accommodate unique patient needs.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Administrative

Participate in quality assurance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.

Qualifications

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
Basic computer experience.

Preferred

1 year of ultrasound scanning experience.

Certifications

Sonography (S) by ARRT or RDMS by ARDMS in Abdomen or Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Experience

Experience in ultrasound scanning preferred.
